SMALL TOWN - BIG BOOK SALE!

Troop 80 scouts were delighted to once again help support the Friends of The Norfolk Public Library's annual book sale held at the DPW's garage over the weekend. The boys helped unload the books and set them out. Then, when the book-loving public descended, Troop 80 made sure there was always a helpful scout close by to assist with saving books or lending a hand moving books to the register or cars.

Organizers were extremely appreciative of Troop 80's continued partnership:

"These great young men work so hard. They are amazing. They are about the greatest kids I’ve ever known. They come every year ready to work and do their part to make the book sale for the library wonderful. They ask what we need, carry, lift, move, for four days. We can’t do it without them all. Best guys ever!! See you next year. 😁"

Norfolk Book Sale usually has approx 30,000 books on sale over the course of the weekend
